For some reason I had this strange desire for an upside down cake for Valentines day. I had never made one before. Dustin and I adore blackberries and they are so pretty that I decided to experiment with those. The cake was super moist and the combination of the cake with the berries was amazing. The color of the baked berries was very nice as well. Dustin and I split the cake in half and had it with vanilla ice cream. It was divine!
