It was my brother in law Matt's birthday on Sunday and I had Dustin ask him what his favorite type of cake is. Matt loves chocolate so I decided to make the most deadly chocolate cake ever. The recipe I used was from my new favorite place Betterbaking.com. You have to pay for a subscription, but I am tellin you, her recipes are worth it.
The recipe is called Terre Etoile's Chocolate Sour Cream Fudge Cake. The cake is so dense and moist and is definitely not for the light hearted. To make it even more deadly, I decided to cover it with a rich chocolate ganache. To Die for!
P.S. I know the flowers are girly but they were just so pretty and springy! :)
